Lecture on study in Australia held successfully by School of International Co-education
School of International Co-education started the recruitment of students for Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Electrical Engineering and Automation this year. The cooperative education is jointly held by HIT and the University of Sydney and is approved by the Ministry of Education. Students enrolled will take their basic professional courses for two years in HIT and then go to the University of Sydney for the rest of the courses. Students who meet the requirements will be awarded with the Bachelor’s Degree by HIT and the University of Sydney.
For students to know more about the higher education of Australia, School of International Cooperative Eeducation has invited Professor Gan Yang on December 5th, 2010, a teacher from School of Chemical Engineering who has studied and worked in Australia before, to give the students a lively lecture.
In combination with his own experience, Professor Gan, through the pictures in PPT, showed students the whole landscape of Australia from the perspectives of higher education system, culture, geography, transportation, accommodation, cultural shock and so on, which enabled them to attain further knowledge of Australia and increased their confidence for study abroad. After the lecture, Professor Gan has answered the questions raised by the students enthusiastically.
