Introduction of School of International Cooperative Education
School of International Cooperative Education of Harbin Institute of Technology was founded in October 2005. School of International Cooperative Education enrolls students under the HIT full-time enrollment planning system, improving the international reputation of the university by joint education through cooperation with world renowned universities. To date, HIT has conducted joint education programmes with the University of Sydney. The major of Electrical Engineering and Automation has seen its fourth consecutive year of enrollment, and the students recruited in 2010 and 2011(international class) are currently pursuing their study in Sydney.
School of International Cooperative Education, through the introduction of foreign advanced educational concept, operating mechanism, quality teaching material and professors, has raised the international standards of HIT to a new high. With the world famous university as the goal, the school pursues internationalization of HIT higher education. It fosters high-level personnel standard and tries to make HIT an international, open and research-based university. |
